The sNr Badge system is designed to allow everyone to easily show which kind of training they have or can offer and at what level of specific activity they are when it comes to ponyplay, both for grooms/trainers and animals. In addition staff members and sNr animals have to have some basic badges to show they are able to properly operate sim equipment and understand what said equipment entails. This is to ensure quality service and avoid panic when changes in RLV restrictions cause drastic effects.

Some badges require additional people, but in general sNr Staff and Animals are happy to help out.

== Simhelper Badges ==
These badges are to honor some of our members for tirelessly working on all kinds of activities to help sNr sustain itself and provide entertainment for members and visitors alike. They are not integrated into the roleplay at the stables.

Similar to the advanced Badges these come in Bronze/Silver/Gold, based on how often people help out mostly.

These badges are awarded at staff meetings by vote.

(Beta, we are not sure yet how to implement these)
*:Sim, Group and Discord administration and policing.
We already got "Basic Knowledge", which is all the white badges which staff members and ponies should have?
*'''Event Hosting, Organisation'''
Next i would make one category for all the carting and saddle stuff, as well as whip circle and Lap yard. Because its all heavily based on whip commands and moving precisely as ordered. Then one Category for Slalom, Barrels, Steeples. Event stuff and Polo could go into a category, as polo is basically very team based? A category for all the dressage variations. A Roleplay category, which could also include stuff like puppyplay and such. Maybe Miscelanious or so for the rest?
*:Helping with organising and hosting events of any kind.
*'''Classes'''
*:Teaching during the sNr Monday Classes.
*'''Competitions'''
*:Organising and supervising competitions for the sim.
*'''Builder, Scripter'''

sNr Badges

WORK IN PROGRESS (Beta)

The sNr Badge system is designed to allow everyone to easily show which kind of training they have or can offer and at what level of specific activity they are when it comes to ponyplay, both for grooms/trainers and animals. In addition staff members and sNr animals have to have some basic badges to show they are able to properly operate sim equipment and understand what said equipment entails. This is to ensure quality service and avoid panic when changes in RLV restrictions cause drastic effects.

There are 5 levels of badges available, but not all badges come in those 5 levels. For more info to each badge please see the following lists.

How to get Badges?

All Badges are given out by certified sNr Trainers, who have at least the basic version of the badge themselves. If you are in doubt how to find those feel free to poke in groupchat at any time or visit the monday classes as teachers tend to be certified in their topics.

  • Basic Badges (level 0 and 1) can in general be gotten through participation in the respective sNr Monday Classes or via a private demonstration of the respective knowledge to a certified sNr Trainer.
  • Advanced Badges (level 2-4) can be earned through performing badge-specific practical feats to show skill and dedication to the activity only. These badges are not required for any Roles, but give quite the bragging rights when one shows them off. In order to get an advanced Badge you need to find yourself a certified sNr Trainer and perform the required actifities under said Trainers supervision. This does not have to be done all at once, so more complicated Badges can be earned over multiple days. Some badges require additional people, but in general sNr Staff and Animals are happy to help out.
  • sNr Monday Classes are each Monday at noon SLT, or are available at other times upon request towards Katinka or Cali. Knowledge demonstrations can be performed by certified trainers who have the required badge themselves, if in doubt poke Katinka (katinka.teardrop) or Cali (cali.nyn).

Handler Badges

In most categories a bronze badge can be awarded when a trainer (or other staff member) teaches two classes on a subject OR instructs a pony or mare to make noticeable progress in a skill (witnessed by a qualified trainer) twice.

A silver badge can be awarded when a trainer (or other staff member) teaches seven classes on a subject Maybe 7 times if it is the OR instructs a pony or mare to make noticeable progress in a skill (witnessed by a qualified trainer) twice OR five times if it is a combination of classes and individual instructions.

A gold badge would be more challenging than just doing more of the same, but it is currently not defined.

  • Whip Circle
