Visitors

Visitors are welcome to roam around the stable and visit the ponies. The only thing we ask from visitors is to respect the theme of the sim and it's regular residents.

  • Locked stuff stays locked, even if you could unlock.
  • Don't cheat around locked doors.
  • Don't cheat around Mare Hearing or IM restrictions.
  • Don't move livestock or other submissives from the sim. Not with RLV, not by coercion or any other means.

The Group Tags and Roles

Everybody should wear the appropriate group tag for their current role.

  • The Neutral Tags and Roles
    • sNr Stables Guest
This is the group tag that every member of the Stones N Rubber Stables group has, it should only be used as a transition until you have the proper tag for your role.
'Door Opener' is not a role as such and not accompanied by a group tag, it just what the name applies, an entry in the sNr staff system that allows you to open (most) doors. This is included in all staff roles.
    • sNr Sim Manager
Roughly comparable to 'Stable Mistress' and 'Stable Master' at other ponyplay sims, this is mostly an adminstrative role, not limited to dominants. Their word is law and their judgment is final.
    • sNr Stable Owner
As the name says. The movers and makers behind the Stones N Rubber Stable who pay for the sim. You won't see this tag often.
    • sNr Veterinary
A roleplay tag to be used by any member of sNr who likes to perform as a veterinary, dentist or nurse when interacting with livestock.
  • The Dominant Tags and Roles
    • sNr Dominant
The group tag for members of sNr Stables that identify as dominant or dom-leaning switches and that have not passed the trainer test yet, or don't want to become trainers. Yes, you can boss the grooms around with this tag.
    • sNr Trainer
Dominants who passed the trainer test. The candidates need to demonstrate knowledge of sNr rules and items (MC, MH, plugins etc), the ability to train ponies and mares in Mare Hearing without cheating around it and working knowledge of pony disciplines and etiquette. For the last part we accept credentials from other stables (currently only FFF).
    • sNr Head Trainer
Trainers who have demonstrated advanced knowledge of pony disciplines and etiquette and showed dedicated support for Stones N Rubber Stables (e.g. by hosting events, training and fostering junior trainers and grooms). Awarded by the Sim Managers on a case by case basis. Not a matter of seniority or a standardized test.
  • The submissive Tags and Roles
All submissives are required to have a RLV compliant viewer. The Mare Control is free of charge for all grooms and livestock.
    • sNr Groom
One of the entry roles for submissives. Also the role that Ponies and non-permanent Mares serve in while not in tack. Subordinate to trainers. No special qualifications required. Mostly menial tasks. Of course submissives can also stay completely in the Groom role and not do Pony time. Senior grooms may get cleared to do actual training.
  • The Livestock
All livestock need to wear a Mare Control and Mare Hearing. Mare Control is provided free of charge upon admission, a Mare Hearing device must be purchased (L$800).
    • sNr Pony
One of the entry roles for submissives at sNr Stables. Can be restricted by Mare Hearing and Mare Control with moderate restrictions.
    • sNr Livestock
Mares Restricted by Mare Hearing and Mare Control with heavy restrictions and locked for a set time period of usually 2 or 4 weeks.
Permanent Mares use the same 'sNr Livestock' group tag as other mares. They also share the same restrictions. While Permanent Mares can take their time off, they cannot serve in any other roles at sNr, ever. This role can only granted by sNr Sim Managers to mares that have served at least 3 months in their role. The decision to grant or deny this role is at the sole discretion of the Manager.

Pony or Mare, the livestock question

Ponies and Mares seems pretty much the same and sometimes are used in identical ways. In sNr we differ between pony and mare on a more elaborate way.

  • Pony
A pony is adult human who is wearing pony play accessoires. Their restrictions can be low to full, a pony may IM and emote. Their training consist of pulling a cart, whip cirlce but also they are trained in all pony sports. Ponies may roam around freely. If a trainer has the option to pick a pony or a mare for training, they will take the pony. Ponies are the proud of their owners and the stable.
  • Mare
A mare is also wearing tack but the restrictions are full to very strict. Mare Control and Mare Hearing have to be worn. A mare can't IM and this feature should only be enabled in rare cases by staff. They should be kept in Mouselook all the time. Their training consist mostly of pulling a cart and the whip circle. If a trainer has the option to pick a pony or a mare for dumb work, they will take the mare. Mares are beasts of burden and kept as dumb as possible to fulfill their work load.

Being in your stall and waiting is part of the life, mares might have to wait more. Ponies may not "demand" training, they are here to obey the trainers and their owners. So you have the choice between the red sugar lump of being a pony or the blue bitter pill of being a mare. It's not an easy decision and you should listen to your inner voice which path you like more. The meaning of the two expressions is very different and it certainly sets the right mood for "ponyplay". Choose wisely!
