Sinha: extend words and emotes list with rise command

Mare Hearing acts as a powerful extension to Mare Control. It is a very powerful and effective device which truly immerses the pony into its new life. Put simply, it reduces the vocabulary of the words an animal can understand to just some basic words they need to be an animal. Every other word in the sentence becomes obfuscated.

Description
The pony simply wears the simple HUD icon and it displays just as an icon. No further interaction is required by the pony so it can be simply reduced in size and left untouched.
So someone saying in local “Well aren't you a cute little pony?”
Becomes “░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░?” to the pony.
There are some simple pony play words they can learn if they hear that word enough. So, after time, the pony may get “░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ ░░░ pony?”
Chat Commands
You can use a command in local chat to access the animal’s Mare Hearing:

/321 mare
hearing

:Where
is the target’s first name.

There is also a chat command to enable/disable Mare Talk:

/321 mare
talk on|off

The Mare Hearing main menu can also be opened with the sNr Staff HUD.
Menu
The Mare Hearing Menu looks like this:

[Mare Talk]
This toggles the ability for mares to speak and listen to each other in a secret language no one else can hear. It is usually left enabled.

[Lock]/[Unlock]
This toggles the mare hearing capability. This can be useful if you need the mare to hear local in order to help them train, or perhaps to give them a temporary time-out.

[Name]
The pony’s name as used in local chat is set here, and obviously needs to match their display name so bystanders know who is speaking or emoting.

[Allow Emotes]
If this is enabled then emotes can be sent as normal, but if it is activated then the pony can only emote using the gestures listed below.

Word List
A list of all words a mare can learn.
pony, mare, come, go, easy, work, stay, bad, home, stall, good, stop, dumb, ready, stupid, yes, no, animal, livestock, wait, start, wrong, stopping, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, steeples, slalom, barrels, dressage, polo, cart, rise, raise

A list of all allowed basic emotes if emotes are restricted. These words are also accepted if an s is added to the end.
nicker, whinnie, whinny, snort, stomp, neigh, once, twice, yawn, sigh, blow, squeal, bow, curtsy, curtsie, rise

Troubleshooting
* If you cannot obtain access to the Mare Hearing then you may be too far away to use it or the pony isn’t wearing it.
* If the owner has disabled access to it a message will show in local chat:
*: Mare Hearing: The owner of this animal prohibits access to this Mare Hearing
: In case you are using the Staff HUD this message can get lost. To be sure, try to access the Mare Hearing directly without the use of the Staff HUD to see the message.

Change Log
Stabled animals
sNr Ponies and sNr Livestock are both stabled within the main stalls and should be put back into their assigned stall after training. In order to find said stall please refer to the nameplates on the stall. Both ponies and livestock stabled at the main stalls are expected to be available for training by sNr Staff, this means at least their reins should be available and they should either be lightly enough restricted to be able to train or their equipment should be set up so staff can temporarily remove the restrictions. If one is unwilling to have their personal animal unavailable for other staff members for a given time the pony should be transferred into the guest stalls for the duration.

The sNr Staff Handbook is intended as a detailed guide for all sNr staff and contains everything from applying for a role, processing a new animal and how to use the various equipment. In addition, it covers how to conduct a number of pony events from a trainer perspective. It contains pictures and screenshots to help clarify the steps and is designed to be a one-stop shop. This guide will also evolve and develop over time to stay current.

This guide is not really designed to be read from cover to cover as there is a lot of detail covered and staff knowledge gaps will be different. It has a contents page so you can pick out a particular subject you want more information about.

Sim rules and stable structure
Here we have just a quick link to the general guide if you are unsure about details within the sim rules and the meanings of the different roles within sNr. It also includes some helpful info for advising potential ponies if they are more suited to join the stable as sNr Pony or as sNr Livestock.

sNr Guides

Getting started and staff equipment guide
Here you find basic information about how to get specific roles within the stables, as well as hot to operate the sNr Staff Terminal. The staff terminal is useful for managing the access level of staff members and to get staff equipment, such as the all important staff hud. Furthermore, a brief overview over the different staff equipment and how to access the bridles of stabled ponies is provided.

Awarding Badges
Here you will find detailed steps on how to award a badge in the bade system database and some brief info as to how to check if a pony or handler has the requirements for the respective badge.

Animals pre-processing guidance
In this section you will find all the useful information about what measures should be taken before a pony is processed to become a sNr Pony or sNr Livestock. Be aware this part is written as questions towards the pony as it is also part of the Pony Guide.

Animal Pre-Processing Guidance

Processing animals
Here you will find all the information you need in order to properly process animals as members of the sNr stables. Please make sure to check up on the details if you are unsure as botching this process will greatly affect the enjoyment of the processed animal over the duration of its stay.

Processing Animals

Guest ponies are to be stabled in the guest stables in general.

Training Guides
There is a small selection of guides for training the stabled animals in different disciplines. Feel free to have a look and refresh your knowledge at any time.
Stones N Rubber is an adult sim dedicated to transformation roleplay and pet play. It is not a capture roleplay or free sex sim. What defines sNr has evolved over time and will continue to do in the future. Currently the Stones N Rubber Stables is the core component and these rules describe the stables and the roles people have within the stables. The focus of ponyplay at Stones N Rubber Stables is on Dominance, submission and ponyplay.
Sim Rules
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the stable and visit the ponies. The only thing we ask of visitors is to respect the theme of the sim and its regular residents.
*Feel free to ask staff to take a pony out and enjoy training it within the sim, just be aware that the animals are restricted to stay in the sim and cannot roam freely without staff supervision.
*Respect people’s choice to roleplay in a BDSM and bondage environment by limiting the use of OOC chat and SL functionalities to circumvent bondage gear to a minimum.
*Feel free to tease the animals a bit, but be aware it’s not a sex sim and no one is liable for animals kicking visitors in the groin.
*No one is forced to play with you, respect SSC (sane, safe, consensual) please
*No griefing or harassment.
*The LL community standards and Terms Of Service apply.

*If you would like to file a complaint about anything please document it via notecard and put it into the complaint box at the main stables - right next to coffee and popcorn - for investigation.
*If you would like to praise something you quite liked here feel free to drop it via notecard into the praise box at the main stables - right next to coffee and popcorn - so we can do more like that.

How to interact with sNr as a guest
When coming to sNr as a guest you might notice some oddities, such as that the beautiful ponygirls can usually be admired in their stables but are both leashed and locked inside such stables, preventing you to interact with them. Another thing to note is that they might seem to ignore what you are saying.

According to the sNr Ethos ponies are strictly controlled animals, which are kept locked in their stables until grooms, dominants or trainers of the sim take them out to put them to work and training. This includes many of them using a system called Mare Hearing (MH), which prevents them from understanding human speech in chat, and their ability to speak directly is also removed through the bit. If you like to interact with one of the ponies you need to likely do it similar as you would with any domestic animal. The overwhelming majority of them loves pats and appleslices.

If you are a guest and would like to take out a pony for a ride around the sim or see how it performs in training the best way is to look around for one of the human stable roles (see also stable structure below), recognizable by group tags such as "sNr Groom/Dominant/Trainer". If in a pinch the sNr Kitties can usually also open stables and help people interacting with the ponies.

For general questions about the sim it's best to flag down members with the "sNr Staff" tag, as these are currently working to help with administrative buisness or to help visitors. If no one is available, asking a human stable member gives good results as well.

There are also other animals arund sNr - such as puppies, kitties and cows - which are usually restricted based on the wishes of their owners without stable rules specifying the kind of restrictions. These should be easier approachable than ponies and most enjoy treats. Finally, you might see living statues and other objectified people in the sim. These usually have very limited means to interact due to their current role.

sNr Stable Structure
There are several roles available at sNr, depending on the wishes and needs of the respective stable members. By showing the appropiate group tag for their current role, members of the stable can signal that they are available in the capacity of that role. May it be as sNr Staff to help visitors or do administrative work, sNr Pony to serve and be trained, or even sNr Trainer to make use of the sim submissives. Wearing the respective grouptag allows people to see what kind of interaction you are interested in and also how you currently stand in the stable hierarchy. Of course you are also free to wear such tags outside of the sim, you are welcome to spread the word about sNr gridwide as well.

The following tags are sorted depending on the different groups one can join at sNr. The sNr Staff group includes official sim staff and administrative roles, while the other two groups offer mostly tags for roleplaying purposes. Keep in mind that most of the information in the role descriptions is generalized and for RP purposes, just because you should obey humans as a puppy doesnt mean you need to keep playing with someone whose behavior is unacceptable out of character.

In general new people who wish to join sNr will be getting the sNr Stable Guest role first. Once they have familiarized themselves with the Sim they might wish to persue other roles - dominant, submissive or both - in order to better interact with the other people. In order to ensure both animals and handlers have a minimum of competence when it comes to the roleplay aspect and (more importantly) the RLV restrictions in play other groups may require a certain amount of Badges to be collected. The required Badges can be gotten rather easy, but there are some (optional) advanced ones to really show ones skill as well (see the Badges Page on how to get them).

StonesNRubber Staff
*sNr Staff
*:This is the basic group tag available for all staff members. It is a mostly administrative tag that is not included in roleplay of the sim. If you see people with this tag they are either doing administrative work, hosting events or just making sure everything runs well on the sim. People with this tag are generally open to questions from guests and willing to help them with issues.
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for staff.
*sNr Groom
*:Grooms are stable boys or stable maids, which take care of the different animals within the sim and help the sNr Dominants and sNr Trainers by obediently following their instructions. sNr Groom is a good role for submissives or switches who enjoy being in the middle of the stable hierarchy, but it comes with a lot of power over the sNr ponies and sNr livestock. In order to become a groom a minimal set of badges has to be acquired to show basic understanding of the Mare Control and Mare Hearing setup for animals and the ability to train ponygirls in at least one or two disciplines.
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for staff; 2 Black Badges of ones choice.
*sNr Trainer
*:Trainers are experienced dominants who have shown to be capable both in general ponyplay, as well as proficient in the specific procedures of the sNr Stables. They hold the highest standing in the stable hierarchy and are trusted to not abuse this privilege. In order to become a sNr Trainer one has to earn a significant amount of badges, showing they are fully capable to train ponygirls, can operate sim items, are able to set up new ponygirls as they are welcomed into the stable, help and train grooms.
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for staff; Black Badges: Ponytack, Roleplay, Lapyard; 6 Black Badges of ones choice.
*sNr Senior Trainer / sNr Sim Manager / Old but gold trainer
*:These are legacy roles, which are no longer in practical use. Functionally they are the same as the sNr Trainer role.
*Owner
*:If you catch Sinha with that role give her a few smacks on her ass and bind her up tighter ;)

StonesNRubber Stables
*sNr Stable Guest
*:This is the general tag for members of the stables. Our dear stable guests are always welcome to hang out, pet the animals and have a pleasant chat. It is also a basic role for everyone who wishes to dive deeper into the Stables but has not yet earned the minimum amount of badges for their desired roles.
*:Required Badges: None, this is the entry role. Welcome to sNr :)
*sNr Pony
*:This tag indicates that the wearer is a Pony stabled at sNr and kept according to the sNr Ethos. sNr Ponies are interested in the sports and play aspect of ponyplay over high restrictions. The use and setup of Mare Control and Mare Hearing can be customized and sNr Ponies are not confined to their stall at all times when not in use. This allows them to train themselves into the more sports-oriented pony disciplines, such as slalom, steeple, or polo, at their own pace. It is also an excellent position for ponies who are not overly into the control and bondage aspect of ponyplay. A sNr Pony has to earn a base amount of badges before acquiring this role to show its proficiency with the different ponyplay activities and that it can be trusted to proudly represent the sim and follow training instructions properly.
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for animals; 2 Black Badges of ones choice.
*sNr Livestock
*:This tag is for ponies who are heavily focussed on the control and bondage aspect of ponyplay. Livestock is kept strictly in pony role with Mare Control and Mare Hearing generally in place, confined to their stalls unless they are in use by their betters. Due to these restrictions most livestock have significantly less chances to train the sporting ponyplay disciplines and are mostly used for carting, whip circle and trained to be dumb animals in the lap yard. sNr livestock need to acquire a basic amount of badges to show their understanding and capability in the basic pony disciplines, as well as understanding Mare Control and the restrictions that come with it.
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for animals; sNr Livestock introduction; 2 Black Badges of ones choice.
*sNr Puppy / sNr Pup
*:These puppies dash around at the Stables or the nearby petplay areas. There are no fixed rules for puppies and their exact treatment is up to their respective owners. In general it is expected that sNr puppies represent the sim well and are good, loyal and obedient boys and girls for the kind humans who make use of them. There are some badges available to earn for puppies and show what good dogs they are.
*:Required Badges: White Badge: sNr rules, sim rules, wiki; Black Badge: Petplay.
*sNr Kitty
*:The adorable sNr kitties! According to their own opinions the true rulers of the stables. Most see them as adorable and playful pets, which are free to be petted and played with by staff and guests alike. Just as with the puppies there are no fixed rules for sNr Kitties, so what goes is up to them or their owners. Generally be prepared for the kitties being switchier, less strictly bound and happily domming the other animals or even grooms who fail to put their foot down. There are no specific badges for sNr kitties to be gotten as each kitty is obviously perfect, but they are some general Badges to collect for your amusement.
*:Required Badges: White Badge: sNr rules, sim rules, wiki; Black Badge: Petplay.
*sNr Veterinary
*:Those poor souls who risk getting kicked in the groin with a hoofboot or scratched up every day to ensure the animals within the stable are healthy. sNr Veterinaries specialize in medical roleplay, such as checkups for the animals. In order to become a sNr Veterinary one has to gather some specific badges in order to show ones medical license isnt just a fake ;)
*:Required Badges: Standard White Badges for staff; Black Badges: Roleplay and Veterinary.
*sNr Dominant
*: Both for dominant guests and dominant staff which is not quite experienced enough to gain the sNr Trainer tag. This is predominantly a roleplaying tag to show others your preferences instead of using the visitor or staff tags. Generally one can expect the animals and grooms of the sim to be open to play and willing to submit if they have the time. sNr Dominants just have to earn the basic badges for sim rules and wiki. Staff members who use this role should also have the respective badges for basic understanding of MareControl and MareHearing.
*:Required Badges: White Badge: sNr rules, sim rules, wiki.
*sNr Stable Owner
*:If Sinha is catched wearing this tag she needs to be tacked up fully as Stute and be put into the lapyard for at least 500 rounds ;)

Pony or Mare - the livestock question
What should one be and what differentiates those roles? This question is briefly addressed within the respective role restrictions already but lets go a bit more into the details here.

Details in overview (table)

*sNr Pony
*:A pony is generally less severely restricted and has a relatively large amount of personal agency. This means while you are a beast of burden to serve and obey your betters, you still have the option to do things by yourself if those betters are busy. This allows ponies to spend a lot of their personal time on honing their skills as a pony, be that in sports, roleplay or carting. While the strictness of restrictions can always be adjusted to personal taste ponies are usually lightly restricted and able to roam freely most of the time. They also have greater freedom when it comes to engaging with roleplay as they are able to understand human speech. Being an sNr Pony is also an excellent choice if you are online when not many staffmembers are active or you like to frequently update your ponytack.

*sNr Mare
*:Mares are heavily restricted and always leashed animals. Everything said about livestock apply to mares as well, but they are able to hear and respond to IM.

*sNr Livestock
*:Livestock are heavily restricted beasts of burdens who are focussed on the D/s aspect of ponyplay, bondage, the experience of being an helpless animal with no rights and the like. Livestock are generally confined to their stalls if not used by staff, so please do understand that this means you will stand a LOT OF TIME in that stall. Expect dominant staff members to have busy schedules and not nearly as much SL time as you would like. On the plus side, as you are in your stall you might just get picked to be used by that dashing trainer while the sNr pony is busy shopping and misses out. However, your skill development in pony disciplines and roleplay will suffer as you can only do certain activities and you have no influence on which those are and how often they are performed. Also you will be unable to understand human language and have to cope with that. The ability to IM is completely restricted, see the difference to mares. Make sure you clarify your needs with the trainer who processes you as you won't be able to communicate afterwards.

All animals will have to spend quite some time waiting in hopes that dominants make use of them. This is the unfortunate reality of SL when long term bondage is involved as dominants are rare. Generally our staff is trying, but please don't expect or demand training as soon as you see a trainer. Being a good dominant is quite challenging and that trainer might just come from a RL 14 hour shift.

Opening a Stall
To open a stall door, the staff member needs to be wearing their sNr Staff HUD and be activated. Simply click anywhere on the door frame, avoiding the sNr logo on the nameplate. Clicking the sNr logo on the nameplate allows you to edit the stall nameplate, which is covered below. Always allow a little time, as there is a short delay whilst the Staff HUD checks your permissions.
Each pony should have its name on its allocated stall, except in the case of rubber mares or guest ponies.
The image below shows an example of a nameplate on an sNr stall door, marked up with the stall position numbers from ① to ⑥ which becomes important when you use the menu below.
Menu
If you click and hold on the sNr logo for a couple secounds on the nameplate whilst activated and wearing a staff HUD, then the following menu appears:

As you can see the menu comprises a list of numbers from 1 – 6 – these refer to the position numbers marked up on the nameplate image above. There is also an info button and a button to open door.

Pressing the info button provides a list of names to you in local chat detailing the pony’s username, display name, which staff member added them and when.
[Open Door]
This is another way of opening the stall door, but less efficient than just clicking on the door frame itself.
[1] - [6]
If you click the stall numbers then you get a menu similar to the one shown on the right. You have options to assign a nearby person to a stall, remove the current occupant or go back.

If you assign a person to a stall then you will have the option to add their pony name. It’s wise to have their stall name match their display name so staff know which stall to put them in.
Please be aware trainer and groom and only add names. Make sure you typed in correctly. You have ten (10) letters availible for the name. Please see a Stable Mistress or higher rank if you need to change or remove a name.

Remove a stall name if the pony has been released. It is a regular admin function by the stall Mistress staff to clear out unused stalls, but reduces their workload if you remove it after releasing someone.

Guest ponies are to be stabled in the guest stables in general.

Sinha: First update for MC6

Mare Control is effectively a specialised collar and by default is designed to be used by sNr staff.

It can be accessed by an activated staff member via touch, a text command or the Staff HUD buttons. Quite often, the mare control collar can be obscured by something like a neck corset, so the chat command or Staff HUD is often easier.

Chat Commands
The command in local chat to access Mare Control is:

/321 mare
control

:Where
is the target’s login first name.

If successful, the dialog box will appear. If the text ‘This animal has an owner’ appears at the top then you may be limited in what you can adjust, or may not be able to access it at all.

When animals are afk or unavailable they should kneel down (using F7 key). When they get back (using F8) they get off the kneeling.

It shouldn't be necessary normally but you can release the kneeling with
/321 mare
release

To request a pony or mare to accept someone as their owner, look up for the UUID (Unique User ID) of the owner in their profile (if you are the owner in your own profile):

/321 mare
addowner UUID

The initial process will ask the mare if they accept the owner. After the first owner was accepted, there will be no further notifications of owner changes for the animal!

The owner can use the following to remove themselves as owner at a later date:

/321 mare
remowner

or replace it with a new owner:

/321 mare
replaceowner UUID(of new owner)

A Trainer or above can check who the owner of an animal is:

/321 mare
owner

A Sim Manager can also remove any existing owner:

/321 mare
reset_owner

Menu
Once you have accessed the Mare Control, if it is unlocked you will get a menu with the option to lock the animal. You can now lock the animal and Mare Hearing (if worn) will be locked and activated at the same time.
Before locks are actually applied you'll need to choose a level for the animal. There are the three types of sNr available, pony, mare and livestock. For differences between the levels please refer to the details page. Select the desired role in the menu.

After you have locked the animal, you will get something like the following menu:

The first thing to note is the message at the top in this example which says ⚠ This animal has an owner. This means that some of the mare Control options may be disabled for you. As you can see in this example, all the IM options have been disabled by the owner, and you are unable to release the animal either.
Here is an example of a Mare Control menu with no owner:

The top-level Mare Control options by default are as follows:
* Force Sit
* TP Options
* IM Me
* IM All
* RLV
* Release

Force Sit
Back takes you back to the Mare Control main menu.
Sit scans for nearby objects and gives you a button for each one, and provides a more detailed list in the local chat. This is important for something like different cart types as the button can only display limited text, so you may not have enough information to tell which cart is which. When you select an item, the pony will be sat on it. The pony should not have to deactivate their AO.
Unsit will force unseat the pony from whichever object they were sat on previously.
Important: If you use Mare Control to force sit someone you must also use it to unseat them as well, or the object they were previously sat on will try and grab them again later.

TP Options
Back takes you back to the Mare Control main menu.

TP all allows non members of staff to lure the pony via a teleport. This need to be enabled if non-staff members want to TP the pony to another sim, perhaps for carting. Staff members don’t need this, they just need to make sure they access mare control at least once during the session so that MC identifies them as staff and authorises teleports.

Set Position is used when the pony is in its stall at sNr. This means that their home position is set and if they log on elsewhere, they will be returned to their home stall. This is usually set when the pony is processed.

RLV
* Back takes you back to the Mare Control main menu.
* Inv controls the pony’s access to its inventory.
* Wear/Remove controls whether the pony can add or remove attachments or clothes.
* Run controls if they can run. This may need to be enabled for some pony sports.
* Rez/Edit controls if the pony can rez or edit items.
* Touch HUD controls if the pony can touch a HUD on their screen. In most cases, a pony should not need to click a HUD if they have set things up as directed in this manual.
* IM Me/IM All toggles the type of IM access granted, so it’s important to look at the text above the buttons to see what you have set. With each press it will toggle between denied to receive only then receive and send.
It’s important to notice the distinction between IMs with You and IMs with all. In most cases you would only grant IMs to yourself to discuss or resolve an issue with a pony.
IMs to you are reset if another staff member overrides it or when the pony relogs.

Release
Release is used to unlock the pony from its Mare Control. You will get a warning first which you need to acknowledge.
The Mare Control collar is very powerful so although an animal may have a separate ownership collar, it is recommended that only the detach restriction be used on the separate collar to avoid having restriction clashes and conflicts which can be hard to diagnose.
The release menu also provides a timer option. Clicking this takes you to a webpage link. Here you can set the date and time for the Mare Control to be automatically released.

Mare Vision
The Mare Vision main article has more details and troubleshooting tips.

Ownership
Mare Control allows you to add yourself or someone else as an owner of any animal wearing it. This will give you ultimate control over their Mare Control including what functions are available to other sNr staff.

Setting Owner
Although the ownership command can be done via text, it is safer to use the Staff HUD to use the owner functions to avoid mistakes.
So, first the staff member clicks the blue key icon, then on the ownership button and the following menu will appear:

Next, click the Add Owner button.

When you ask to be their owner, the animal will get a confirmation dialog explaining what this means and the extra control you - the new owner - will have.
You will be notified if the animal accepts or declines ownership through a confirmation message in local chat.

Assuming they accept, you will then get another menu option called Owner Sett, in addition to the options you had before, available in your Mare Control for that animal as shown below:

Owner Settings
There are a number of buttons on this menu which toggle how much access other staff have to your mare. Text above the buttons show which extra owner restrictions are active, as shown below:

*Back returns you to the Mare Control main menu.
*unlock toggles whether other staff can release and unlock your animals mare control. When activated, only you will be able to release the mare and no one else. A Sim Mistress and above and override this, but it is only done in extreme circumstances.
*IM Send toggles the staff ability to enable IMs between the animal and other staff.
*IM All toggles the staff ability to enable IMs between the animal and anyone else.
*MC Access toggles the ability for staff to access the animals Mare Control.

Please consider using this carefully, as it may restrict staff from being able to assist your pony in your absence. If selected, other staff will receive a message saying the owner of the animal has blocked access to its mare control if they try and access it in the course of their duties.

This setting blocks all access except Force Sit. Including the settings that could be otherwise toggled on or off individually.

*MH Accesstoggles the ability for staff to access the animals Mare Hearing.
*Bridle access toggles whether other trainers can access your animal's bridle at all. Please consider using this carefully because if blocked, no staff can take your animal out for training.

RLV Restrictions
* Teleport
* Detach
* Maps
* Edit
* Rez
* Show Names
* Show Name Tags
* Show Tags
* View Notes
* View Scripts
* Add or remove clothes or attachments
* Show Inventory
* Touch HUDs
* Start, send or receive IMs

Updating
Staff can update all available Mare Control. Please note that there are different approaches for different versions of Mare Control:
Mare Control 6
Mare Control 5
Mare Control before 5.0
Mare Control versions lower than 5.0.0 doesn't have an integrated update mechanism. You will always need an object called "sNr Mare Updater v5" which is availabe through the sNr Staff Terminal near the stable. Rez a copy of this item near the animal you like to update. Wait until the hover text changes to green, then click the box. Select the wanted actions in menu, the most current version of the picked device will be delivered directly to the target.
Note: You can use this procedure even with version 5 and up, though it is not the recommended way of updating.

Troubleshooting
* Note that the environment settings are locked so it is a good idea to make sure the animal uses a fixed day setting under World | Environment Editor | Environment Settings before they are locked as they may find it hard to train in darkness and not be able to change it.
* One possible reason for unexpected behaviour of Mare Control or Mare Hearing can be a conflict with other attachments that implement RLV(a) restrictions. One step in troubleshooting conflicts can be to type @list in the IM window with the animal. As a response the viewer the contents of the RLVa / Restrictions list after getting permission from the user.

Mare Controls are glowing red when the animal kneels down (using F7). When they get back (using F8) the red glow is removed again. If you see an animal working or being not-afk with a glowing red mare control, you can release them:

/321 mare
release

To request a pony or mare to accept yourself as their owner:

/321 mare
addowner UUID

:You can find the UUID (Unique User ID) on your/new owner's profile.

The owner can use the following to remove themselves as owner at a later date:

/321 mare
remowner

/321 mare
replaceowner UUID(of new owner)

A Trainer or above can check who the owner of an animal is:

/321 mare
owner

A Sim Manager can also remove any existing owner:

/321 mare
reset_owner

Menu
Once you have accessed the Mare Control, if it is unlocked you will get a menu with the option to lock the animal. You can now lock the animal and Mare Hearing (if worn) will be locked and activated at the same time.

* Force Sit
* TP Options
* IM Me
* IM All
* RLV
* Release

* Inventory controls the pony’s access to its inventory.
* Wear/Remove controls whether the pony can add or remove attachments or clothes.
* Running controls if they can run. This may need to be enabled for some pony sports.
* Rez/Edit controls if the pony can rez or edit items.
* Touch HUD controls if the pony can touch a HUD on their screen. In most cases, a pony should not need to click a HUD if they have set things up as directed in this manual.
* Strict Mode locks a pony for at least seven days with a number of strict restrictions which can not be adjusted during this period. Please use with caution and only in special circumstances.
* IM Me/IM All
Pressing this button toggles the type of IM access granted, so it’s important to look at the text above the buttons to see what you have set.

[back]
Returns you to the Mare Control main menu.
[unlock]
This toggles whether other staff can release and unlock your animals mare control. When activated, only you will be able to release the mare and no one else. A Sim Mistress and above and override this, but it is only done in extreme circumstances.
[IM Send]
This toggles the staff ability to enable IMs between the animal and other staff.
[IM All]
This toggles the staff ability to enable IMs between the animal and anyone else.
[MC Access]
This toggles the ability for staff to access the animals Mare Control.

[MH Access]
This toggles the ability for staff to access the animals Mare Hearing.
[Bridle access]
This toggles whether other trainers can access your animal's bridle at all. Please consider using this carefully because if blocked, no staff can take your animal out for training.

RLV Restrictions
* Teleport
* Detach
* Maps
* Edit
* Rez
* Show Names
* Show Name Tags
* Show Tags
* View Notes
* View Scripts
* Touch
* Show Location
* Set Environment
* Run
* Set Group
* Show Nearby Avatars
* Cam Zoom
* Add or remove clothes or attachments
* Show Inventory
* Touch HUDs

/321 mare

* Force Sit
* TP Options
* IM Me
* IM All
* RLV
* Release

* IM Me/IM All
Pressing this button toggles the type of IM access granted, so it’s important to look at the text above the buttons to see what you have set.

[back]
Returns you to the Mare Control main menu.

[MH Access]
This toggles the ability for staff to access the animals Mare Hearing.
[Bridle access]
This toggles whether other trainers can access your animal's bridle at all. Please consider using this carefully because if blocked, no staff can take your animal out for training.

RLV Restrictions
* Teleport
* Detach
* Maps
* Edit
* Rez
* Show Names
* Show Name Tags
* Show Tags
* View Notes
* View Scripts
* Touch
* Show Location
* Set Environment
* Run
* Set Group
* Show Nearby Avatars
* Cam Zoom
* Add or remove clothes or attachments
* Show Inventory
* Touch HUDs

Here one finds all the necesary information to make an informed decision about becoming a Pony or Livestock at the sNr Stables.

General Information about the Stable
First and foremost one should understand the sim Rules, sNr Ethos and the meaning of the Grouproles in sNr. For this we suggest to read carefully through the general sNr Guide. The sNr Ethos defines the way animals are treated and expected to behave within the stables, while carefully looking through the different roles in the sNr Stable Structure will help you decide what kind of animal is right for you. Additionally, you will find there which sNr Badges are required for the role of your choice.

sNr Guides

How to become an sNr animal
The next step is to prepare for your time as a rightless beast of burden in the stables. As there are quite a few factors to be considered, it is best to refer to the Animal Pre-Processing Guide to cover them all. Do not neglect the most important part though: Before you become an animal at the stables you should spend some time there to familiarise yourself with the stables and make some friends, as once you are a tightly restricted and bridled pony your chance to make new friends will be limited.

Animal Pre-Processing Guidance

Updating Mare Control
<strike>If a new version of Mare Control is available, you'll get a message from your Mare Control about that if your Mare Control is unlocked. In case it is locked you don't get a message as you can't do anything at all to it. In this case the message will be only displayed for staff.

In any case look for the next member of staff around you to get the update done.

In case you have staff rights, please visit the respective section in the Staff Handbook about how to update Mare Control.</strike>

Since Mare Control v6 (June 2025) the user of the Mare Control will see a notice about an available update in the menu. The wearer will not be notified.

The update can be installed at any time, no matter if the Mare Control is unlocked or not.

Visit the respective section in the Staff Handbook about how to do the update in detail.

Viewer Configuration Guide for animals
Recommended Configuration
For livestock there should be some settings adjusted.
Found under Preferences > Movement
* Move with cursor keys: unchecked
* push-push-hold to run: unchecked
* hold jump or crouch key to start or stop flying: unchecked
* show myself in Mouselook: checked
in menu > RLV uncheck the "Show '...'" option for best results when you are in Mare Hearing.

Kokua and Carts
In Kokua there is a special setting in Preferences > Kokua > General tab. It's called "Do not jump with page up keys." and needs to be unticked. Else you won't be able to change your speed in any of the Marine's carts.

Specialized sNr Equipment
Both sNr Ponies and sNr Livestock have several equipment options available. For a comprehensive list and detailed information please refer to Specialised sNr equipment.

The Holy Threesome of sNr
No matter if it's pony or mare, all them need to have three things when they get stabled at sNr. These holy threesome are:

* a tattoo showing the class
* a tag according the class
* a stall

It is possible to have only a tattoo or only the tag, but it's not possible to have a stall without these.

Who can I ask about...
If your question can't be answered here feel free to ask in the Stones N Rubber Stables group or one of our staffmembers.

I have a problem with...
If you have a problem with something or someone at sNr, please have a look at the Sim Rules for information on how to let the staff know. It will be investigated.

What is the current version of Mare Control/Mare Hearing/other scripts
The most recent version can be seen on this page for Mare Control or this page for Mare Hearing. Since Version 5 the scripts have built in internal update mechanism which gives an information about update availibility to the wearer (if unlocked) or anyone who accesses the device.
Other scripts are updated on a non-regular base, best is direct contact to Sinha about these versions if needed.

I became a mare at sNr but no one takes me out of the stall
Do you know many people here at sNr? Ponies that know people at sNr prior to being stalled, tend to get more attention and visitors so it is worthwhile putting in about a month getting to know people before you sign up. Staff do their best to try and balance their time fairly but it is a fact of life that their own animals would take priority.

While getting to know people, I recommend that you don't hang about as a mare in tack but in casual clothes as then the staff and/or your owner can better enjoy transforming you. However, as explained here, you do need to have your tack tested and ready, as it will be difficult to adjust when you are locked down!

If desired there are some badges available to earn for puppies and show what good dogs they are.
There are no specific badges for sNr kitties to be gotten as each kitty is obviously perfect, but they are free to collect badges from the other roles of the stable.
*sNr Dominant
*: Both for dominant guests and dominant staff which is not quite experienced enough to gain the sNr Trainer tag. This is predominantly a roleplaying tag to show others your preferences instead of using the visitor or staff tags. Generally one can expect the animals and grooms of the sim to be open to play and willing to submit if they have the time. sNr Dominants have to earn a few basic badges to show their understanding of ponyplay and ability to direct an animal properly, just to avoid having to fish carts out of the lake. Staff members who use this role should also have the respective badges for basic understanding of MareControl and MareHearing.

Being a good dominant is quite challenging and that trainer might just come from a RL 14 hour shift.

sNr had rubber ponies in the past, called Humares. They have been stalled in the guest area rather than the main stalls. Being a rubber mare completely robs the person of their identity and provides a standard, consistent look rather than the individual look that can be achieved as a standard pony.
Stable
The stable is the main building at the sim and the centerpiece of activity. People of sNr and visitors gather here, all animals are stablered here as well. If you are new to the sim and interested in ponyplay this is your best destination to look at the pretty ponies or have a chat with the staff.

Sweet Kiss BDSM Club
A cozy club to relax in a refined atmosphere befitting to dominant Sir's and Ladies, which provides enough space to either enjoy the closeness of your submissives or lock them away until you are done relaxing. Everyone is welcome and the club staff will be delighted to have a chat with you if they are around.

Cow Clinic
D-Zone cows have a department at sNr. Feel free to come by and have a look at peak performance milk generation. Rumors has it that there are absolutely no vicious traps to catch wandering submissives and there is a lot of fresh milk available for taste testing.

Veterinary Clinic
There is a fully equipped vet clinic run by Suzy. Bring your animals over and have them properly checked out. After all every domestic animal deserves to be thoroughly inspected and have its health issues adressed.

Living Clothes Store
Heidi Abonwood runs a shop for living clothes, mannequins and more. A great place to find just the right outfir for your needs... or turn into said outfit yourself to please your beloved owner.

Silent Garden
A place to stay for statues and other exhibits. The gardeners will make you enjoy your stay. See their section for details.

Mall
sNr has a small mall with some latex and transformations items. Also we have a Marine's Goodies vendor at the stable.

Rentals
Three parcels each with a house are open for rental. Please be aware that some of the renters prefer their privacy while within their parcels and dont disturb them unless invited over.

sNr Training Platforms
Be aware that there are multiple teleport points within the sim (see above stable layout) where you can teleport to the training platform. Additionally, one of the tunnels within the sim leads directly up there and can be used with some of the carts provided in the sim in case you wish to ride up there in style.
D-Zone Cows at sNr
Information
D-Zone is a old and well-known sim holding cows for a long time. They have very long-term and dedicated cows.
Please be aware that cows are historically part of D-Zone and not sNr and so have special rules which are different from other livestock as ponies or mares.

About Cows
Cows are made for giving milk and breeding. That's their life and what they are good for. They are getting milked 24/7 or all times they are online. Don't expect anything fancy. If you are going to be a cow you will get sealed in the suit and put in a stall for milking.

Become a Milker
If you like to be a D-Zone cow, please consider contacting a Mistress about becoming a cow. Read the full rules for becoming a cow

Become a Shebull
Shebulls are similar to Milkers in optics but they have a cock for breeding cows.
Shebulls should be some dominant and best having experience as Mistress.
Read the full rules for becoming a cow

Become a Mistress
Mistresses are for checking the cows to be safe, secure and healthy. They can tease the cows or adjust the pleasure settings in the stalls for enhanced milking production.
If you like to become a D-Zone Mistress please contact Monique (Towanda Rayna) for details.
